In case your life has been incomplete with the lack of activity here over the last week or so, I assure you, it is for a good cause.
I’ve disappeared into Code Cave with fellow cave dwellers Casey Stark and Daniel Bachhuber to work on a pair of websites – CoLab and Notetorious. CoLab is a set of tools enabling online scientific collaboration that promotes doing science in the open. Notetorious is an app to help readers share notes and questions that are tagged to specific pages in a book. Though we are all dabbling in each project, Casey is the man behind CoLab and I conceived the idea for Notetorious a few months back.
For more details on the status of the projects, a more comprehensive description of the sites, links to beta versions (when available), and an assortment of programming tips we pick up along the way, check out the Code Cave blog.
